Tumaco Single Origin Dark Chocolate Bar: Tumaco is not the safest place on earth. Nevertheless, active guerrilla groups did not stop us from jumping on a rickety bus toward Colombia’s wild Pacific coast! The unique heirloom cacao beans supplied by wonderful, smiling farmers were well worth the trip.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

All of our products are handmade from the best natural ingredients, mainly from small organic farms. To honor the incredible cacao we are working with, our dark chocolate contains only two ingredients! At the end of the day, Avanaa’s recipe is utterly simple: outstanding ingredients, hard work and extra love.

Buying our chocolate may not save the world, but by encouraging sustainable agriculture and direct trade with cacaoteros - the farmers of cocoa plantations - we (and you) are making a small contribution to a better world.
